Author Visits:

I'm available for author visits to schools, libraries, bookshops and festivals.

Schools: Creative writing workshops with smaller groups or with classes, through to whole school assemblies (keeping in mind the recommended reading age of 10+)

Workshops:
Villainous Villains: Looking at why we love spectacular villains in our books and how we can create our own. An interactive workshop including time for a short piece of creative writing and reflection plus the ever-popular Q&A.
Writing Spooky Stories:
Why we love spooky stories, what makes us turn the page, writing our own spooky stories exploring settings and using our senses. An interactive workshop with time for a short piece of creative writing and reflection plus the ever popular Q&A.

Workshops can be adapted according to class needs with time to prepare in advance.

Fees: Available on enquiry. Fees are based on Scottish Book Trust benchmark. I am also on the Live Literature site so funding may be available on application. Just click the button!

If your school is outside Central Scotland, there may also be a travel cost based on the AA's minimum rate or standard rail travel, whichever is most economical.
